On December 14, 2020, Jiangsu Academic Degrees Committee and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education announced the results of the Outstanding Master's Thesis of Jiangsu Province in 2020, and our 2019 master's students Mao Yixiao and Zhou Weidong were awarded the Outstanding Professional Degree Master's Thesis of Jiangsu Province in 2020 and the Academic Degree Master's Thesis of Jiangsu Province in 2020, respectively. This award is a recognition and incentive for the cultivation of master's degree talents in Southeast University College of Law, which will further promote Southeast University College of Law to improve the quality of master's degree dissertations and cultivate high-level law graduate talents.

In order to strengthen the management of dissertation quality, the Law School of Southeast University issued the Measures for the Quality Management of Postgraduate Dissertations of Southeast University Law School and the Measures for the Quality Guidance Group of Postgraduate Dissertations of Southeast University Law School on March 18, 2020, and set up a multi-step management mode of postgraduate dissertation guidance, such as pre-dissertation - formal opening - pre-defense - formal defense, and held a number of postgraduate dissertation guidance meetings to improve the quality of postgraduate dissertation writing and promote the high-quality development of law disciplines with characteristics of Southeast University.
