On March 9, 2021, Chen Jun, Dean of the school of law and politics of Nanjing University of information technology, Zhang Mingju, deputy secretary of the Party committee (presiding over the work), Xu Jun, deputy president, Zhu Wenzhen, deputy secretary of the Party committee, and Xu Juan, President of the big Data Institute of rule of law, all visited our college to exchange experience on the construction of new liberal arts. Wang Lusheng, deputy director of Social Science Department of Southeast University, Liu Qichuan, deputy secretary of CPC Committee and vice president of our college, Xiong Zhanglin, assistant president of our college, Qian Xiaoping, Xu Minchuan, Chang Tengyuan and other teachers and doctoral representatives attended the forum.

The forum was presided over by Professor Xiong Zhanglin. First of all, Liu Qichuan delivered a welcome speech, introducing the disciplinary development and personnel training of the college, and said that the disciplinary advantages of Dongda law school and the disciplinary characteristics of Nanxin law school are highly consistent, hoping that the two sides will carry out more in-depth and comprehensive exchanges and cooperation in the future.

President Chen Jun introduced the discipline construction of Nanxin university law school. He said that Nanxin university law school always adheres to the talent cultivation as the core, scientific research as the guidance, and adheres to the talent cultivation orientation of elite, international and skill. In recent years, Nanxin university law school has made some progress in discipline construction, talent cultivation and international exchange.

Researcher Wang Lusheng introduced the new liberal arts construction of Southeast University to the participants. He said that the university is vigorously promoting the plan for the upgrading of fine arts and further promoting the cross integration and collaborative development of different disciplines.

Xu Minchuan, executive deputy director of the judicial big data research base of the people's court, introduced the construction of the base. He said that in July 2016, Southeast University and Jiangsu Provincial People's court jointly established the first judicial big data research base of the people's court in China with the approval of the Fa [2016] No. 240 document of the Supreme People's court. After nearly five years of development, the base has made some achievements in personnel training, scientific research projects and subject competitions.

The holding of the Symposium on the exchange of experience in the construction of new liberal arts between the two academies has built a bridge for the communication between the two sides, deepened the communication between the two sides in scientific research and teaching, college construction and talent training, and reached a consensus on jointly playing the role of talent support and intellectual support for the construction of China under the rule of law.
