On March 21, 2021, the research center of anti-corruption and rule of law of Southeast University held a seminar in the form of a closed door meeting on Research on the cross problems between criminal and civil law under the background of supervision system reform. Professor Yin Ji, deputy director of the anti-corruption center of our college, presided over the meeting. Many experts and scholars from Nanjing University, Nanjing Normal University, Suzhou University and relevant practical departments attended the meeting.

Professor Yin Ji believes that there is no limit to the research on the convergence of law and law in the context of the reform of the supervision system, which includes the intersection of criminal and civil issues in the process of handling job-related crimes. We must have enough academic sensitivity to study the issues in depth, and demonstrate and analyze the effectiveness of signing contracts in job-related crimes in combination with specific cases. Professor Li Xiaoming, President of the National Institute of supervision of Soochow University, made a concrete analysis of the criminal and civil boundary problems in the implementation of fraud by public officials, and proposed that attention should be paid to the evidence system and procedural mechanism. Qian Xiaoping, associate professor of our hospital, expressed his opinions on risk prevention and criminal compliance of job-related crimes in contract signing and performance. Other participants had in-depth exchanges on the handling of the property involved in the case, the signing of the contract, the determination of the crime of dereliction of duty and being cheated in the performance of the contract and other issues, and fully exchanged some difficult issues in the research. The successful holding of this conference has promoted the exchanges between the theoretical and practical circles on the issue of corruption governance, and further strengthened the contact between the anti-corruption center of our hospital and other domestic anti-corruption research institutions and practical departments.
