On April 13, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Prof. Chen Hongbing, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Southeast University Law School, was invited to Jiangsu Provincial Prosecutor's College to give a lecture on Analysis of Difficult Problems in the Application of Property Crimes to the participants of the training on Review and Determination of Property Crimes by the Procuratorial Agencies in the Province.
Prof. Chen Hongbing started from the four aspects of property crimes: legal benefit, object, classification and number of crimes, as well as the purpose of illegal possession of property crimes, sorted out the 12 specific crimes in the chapter of property crimes in the Criminal Law sub-chapter, and explained the common difficult crimes such as theft, robbery and fraud in detail. Professor Chen's problem-oriented approach integrates criminal law theory into the specific judicial application of property crimes, which is highly relevant and instructive.
Professor Chen's lectures were rich in detail, covering a wide range of topics and a large amount of information, demonstrating his rich theoretical skills and practical experience. Prof. Chen not only took off the script throughout the lecture, but also was full of enthusiasm and shocking power throughout the 10-hour long course, actively interacting with the participants and triggering applause on the spot. The participants were full of harvest, and the lecture was a complete success.
