On April 15, 2021, the Third Congress of the Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law Society of Nanjing Law Society and the Symposium on Plea-Based Leniency System were held in Gaochun District, Nanjing. The meeting summarized the work of the previous Council and elected the new members of the Third Council of the Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law Society of Nanjing Law Society.

Professor Li Chuan from our criminal law team was elected as the vice president of the third council of the Nanjing Law Society of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law, Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping and Associate Professor Liang Yunbao were elected as executive directors, and teachers Yang Zhiqiong and Ji Yang were elected as directors.

In the seminar session, Prof. Li Chuan made a more detailed comment on the theme reports of the five speakers and talked about the understanding and application of the leniency system of plea of guilty and punishment from the perspective of criminal integration, which received a warm response and high praise from the participants.
