In order to consolidate the construction of spiritual civilization, while the epidemic prevention and control is normalized, the Youth League Committee of the Law School guided students to use the winter vacation time to carry out a variety of social practice activities in a safe and orderly manner. This time, three teams were sent to Yixing, Hefei, Baoding, Wuxi, Nanjing and other places to promote traditional culture, ask about the 14th Five-Year Plan and volunteer public service. Three teams from our school won the first prize in the Winter Vacation Social Practice Commendation of Southeast University 2021: the project of The Flag of the War on the Epidemic, the Youth's Courage to Take Charge - Education and Care Volunteer Service for the Children of Medical and Nursing Staff won the first prize at the school level, and the project of Long Tao Sand - Ling Yun Zisha and the project of Survey on the Development of Grassroots Self-employed Businesses during the Epidemic and Long-term Planning after the Epidemic won the second prize at the school level.

Based on the epidemic, the students of the group carried out education and care for the children of health care workers in Hefei, Baoding, Wuxi, Nanjing and other cities with the theme of Volunteering for public service, growing wisdom and talent through labor experience.

During the practice, the team cooperated with each other and worked together to provide educational products in multiple ways. First, after extensive collection and accurate screening, the team compiled and summarized dozens of learning materials, which are unique online cloud teaching materials for the Yuzheng Yumeng team. Second, in terms of social promotion, the team used the media to further expand its influence and bring educational care to as many children of healthcare workers as possible. As a traditional handicraft of fine alabaster, it has a long-standing reputation. The traditional craft culture represented by Zisha, how to inherit and carry forward in today's information and modernization, is more worthy of our broader perspective. With a lot of confusion, the students carried out a month-long winter vacation social practice activity with the theme of promoting Chinese traditional culture and telling the Chinese story in the new era, aiming to learn the detailed knowledge of Zisha culture, write a report on the current situation of Zisha culture, and make suggestions for the sustainable development of Zisha culture. Through a series of activities such as preliminary understanding, in-depth study, field interviews and new media promotion of Yixing Zisha pot, a treasure of the Chinese nation and intangible cultural heritage of the world, the team members let more people feel the charm of Yixing Zisha pot, a national intangible cultural heritage, and let it come into the eyes of Dongda University students through our introduction and dissemination. Through our introduction and dissemination, the Yixing Purple Sand Pot will come into the eyes of the students of Dongda University, and go to everyone who loves Chinese traditional culture, and move towards a future with new vitality. The team's social practice is based on the background of the socio-economic downward trend during the 2020 epidemic. During the epidemic, different industries were affected in different ways. Most of the industries suffered a huge impact and their turnover dropped significantly, such as catering, transportation and tourism, agriculture and animal husbandry. To ensure the typicality of the research subjects, the team limited the scope of research and focused on the restaurant industry. Under the title of Asking for the 14th Five-Year Plan, looking forward to the 2035 Vision, the students adopted an offline research approach to study individual restaurants in order to condense general and normative suggestions.

The main target of the team's research was self-employed businessmen. Through more than a month of practical activities, the students found that small and medium-sized enterprises occupy the absolute majority and are more vulnerable to risks, which may also be several times more than during the SARS period. At present, the main difficulties faced by the restaurant industry are also reflected in many aspects: such as outside business, cash flow tension, etc.. In addition, from the perspective of seeking transformation, the students summarized data and information, that the traditional business model is beginning to fail, many restaurant companies are seeking transformation in order to break the game, but also in the road of innovation and change to explore.

The epidemic is a difficulty, but also a new life. After the epidemic, it is the re-emergence of the economy, highlighting the strong endogenous power of China as a huge economy. We also firmly believe that the transient economic difficulties of the special period are for a newer China's future.

The success of the practice cannot be achieved without the support and encouragement of the teachers and the cooperation of the social organizations and volunteers.
