From 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 23, 2021, Professor Chen Hongbing of our hospital was invited to Yancheng Law Association to give a training lecture on criminal defense for more than 270 lawyers, prosecutors and police officers entitled analysis of difficult problems in the application of key charges. Zhang Yu, executive director and director of criminal Department of Jiangsu Yingxin law firm, head of Yingdong criminal defense team, and deputy director of criminal legal business committee of Yancheng Law Association, presided over the criminal defense business training.

In this lecture, Professor Chen Hongbing made a detailed analysis of the difficult problems in the judicial application of 12 key crimes in the specific provisions of the criminal law, including fraud, extortion, affray, theft, rape, intentional homicide, intentional injury, embezzlement, money laundering, production and sale of fake and inferior products, and drug trafficking. Starting from the provisions and combining with the difficult cases and problems in the judicial practice, Professor Chen made an all-round and multi-level interpretation of the elements of the constituent elements of specific charges, the determination of the number of crimes, and the relationship between specific charges and other charges. Not only that, Professor Chen also put forward his own views on the new issues involved in the crime of rape and money laundering revised in the criminal law amendment (11) to inspire everyone's thinking.

During the three-and-a-half-hour lecture, Professor Chen was always full of enthusiasm and shared his thoughts, understandings and feelings in criminal law research with rigorous but lively language. Professor Chen devoted himself to teaching the skills and essence of handling criminal cases, which provided valuable experience for the legal personnel on the scene to better grasp and understand the key crimes of criminal law and improve their practical skills, and won applause from the personnel on the scene.
