The Fourth Academic Salon for doctoral students of Law School of Southeast University was held as scheduled in the conference room on the fifth floor of law school on the evening of May 19, 2021. Zeng Yamei, a 2020 doctoral student, made a report entitled new problems in the construction of rule of law government and their solutions. Zhang Yunhao, a 2017 doctoral student in Law School of Southeast University, Wei wensong, Zhu Zheng, a 2019 doctoral student, Hua Ziyan, and Liu Jin, 2020 doctoral students, made comments on the report. More than 10 master's and doctoral students participated in the salon.

At the beginning of the salon, the host Liu Xing briefly introduced the reporters and reviewers who participated in the salon, and briefly introduced the discussion process and schedule of the five links of reporter report - reviewer review - free review - reporter response. Then, the Reporter Zeng Yamei gave a detailed introduction on the source of topic selection, writing ideas, outline and demonstration, and the existing confusion.

In the evaluation process, Zhang Yunhao, the reviewer, first shared the characteristics of a good topic selection: first, he could explain the problems to be discussed in a sentence, and run through the article through a central thought; secondly, the topic size is moderate, and realize the three levels of domain topic proposition three levels of concretization; Secondly, from the new point of view, new method, new material, new perspective, this paper introduces how to make my thesis innovative; Finally, based on the above two points, the paper puts forward suggestions on sinking the thesis from the topic to the proposition, changing the way of thinking and enriching the original document formed by the viewpoint of Xi Jinping's rule of law. Commentator Wei Wensong put forward his own proposals on the five aspects of the basic requirements of the rule of law, including the scientific aspects, the two level headlines, and the rigour of the logic of the Xi Jinping's rule of law. Zhu Zheng, the commentator, suggested that the 2-3 points of Xi Jinping's thought of rule of law and the building of a government under the rule of law should be chosen as the basis for the demonstration of the full text, and the abandonment of the existing and extensive argumentation methods should be discarded, and the rule of law theory of Xi Jinping's rule of law thought and Xi Jinping's rule of law thought should be differentiated. The author points out that there are some problems in the article, such as the category mixing, the imperfect argumentation system, the lack of outstanding problem consciousness and the lack of concise argumentation, and puts forward the corresponding suggestions. Liu Jin, the commentator, suggested that the article adopt the writing method of policy interpretation type, choose several core viewpoints to carry out the structural demonstration of building with thought leading, and pay attention to the difference between the demonstration content between government and public power system.

Students such as Songfan, yuyifan, wanglijiang and Yuanzhou, the 2020 master students, also put forward their own views on the argumentation mode and the integrity of the demonstration system. After summarizing the comments on the field, the host Liu Xing also put forward his own opinions on the report paper.

Finally, the Reporter Zeng Yamei expressed his thanks to the participants in the salon, and inquired and discussed some comments. She said that after the salon, the opinions of the review would be reasonably absorbed and the articles would be adjusted and perfected. The salon is now fully over.
