On May 15, the International Symposium on artificial intelligence and judicial big data was successfully held in Huazhong University of science and technology. The conference was jointly sponsored by Huazhong University of science and technology and Hubei Provincial Higher People's court, and jointly organized by the Law School of Huazhong University of science and technology and Hubei judicial big data research center (Huazhong University of science and Technology). The conference invited experts from the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark and other countries Top experts and scholars from Belgium, China and other world-famous universities and research institutions, as well as representatives from the information center of the Supreme People's court, China judicial big data research institute, Alibaba, iFLYTEK, CNKI, Beijing Fayi technology, Beijing Huayu information and other practical and industrial circles attended the meeting. The conference adopted a combination of Online + offline mode, with simultaneous interpretation and live broadcast throughout the whole process. Nearly 10000 people from all over the world watched the conference.
Professor Wang Lusheng, executive director of judicial big data of our people's court, Associate Professor Feng Yuqing, lecturer Xu Minchuan, lecturer Yu Tao and other teachers and students of big data base attended the meeting together. Professor Wang Lusheng delivered a keynote speech on China's path to the construction of smart court and its improvement in the second unit of the seminar. In the third unit of the seminar, Mr. Yu Tao gave a keynote speech on legal control of risks caused by brain computer interface. Associate Professor Feng Yuqing delivered a keynote speech on resilient Justice: how judges respond to the campaign against crime in the fourth unit of the seminar. The speeches of the three teachers were highly praised by the participants.
The Judicial Big Data Research Base of the People’s Court of our People’s Court closely integrates the construction of my country’s smart courts with the development of advanced technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain, focusing on the experience of smart court construction and the optimization and construction of paths. The field of judicial big data knowledge barriers, the construction of ethical norms for the judicial application of big data, artificial intelligence and other fields, the overcoming of obstacles in the application of judicial big data and judicial artificial intelligence, and other fields have produced a series of fruitful scientific research results. The informatization construction of the court provides an important knowledge reserve.
