On May 25, Professor Yin Ji of our institute was invited to give a lecture on the topic of Criminal Evidence Review and Wrong Case Prevention Research at Pei County People's Procuratorate. The lecture was presided over by Wang Qi, Party Secretary and Procurator General of Pei County Court, and attended by all the procurators of Pei County Court and the prosecutors of Criminal Procuratorate I of Feng County Court.
Professor Yin explained systematically from the theoretical and practical issues of criminal evidence review, basic scope and requirements, unavoidable problems in practice, and illegal evidence exclusion, and introduced the causes and prevention of criminal wrongdoings through a vivid case in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
After the lecture, Prof. Yin had an in-depth exchange with Procurator General Wang Qi and some post prosecutors in the criminal prosecution department on criminal evidence review, special highlights and other aspects, and patiently answered questions for the prosecutors, which was well received by all.
Wang Qi, the chief prosecutor, gave a final summary, saying that Professor Yin's lecture was both highly theoretical and very realistic and instructive on criminal evidence review, which was a rare opportunity to learn and improve.
