In the afternoon of May 24, the retirement farewell meeting of Mr. Zhang Ning, the former director of the Party and Government Office of the Law School, was held in the mock courtroom on the fourth floor of the College. The meeting was presided over by Mao Huixi, secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, Xiong Zhanglin and Shan Pingji, vice presidents, Liu Qichuan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president, and some faculty members attended the meeting.

The farewell meeting started in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Secretary Mao briefly reviewed Ms. Zhang Ning's twenty-five years working experience in Southeast University, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to her for her efforts and contributions to the construction and development of the College, and hoped that Ms. Zhang would continue to care about and support the future development of the Law School, and wished her happiness and health in her old age.

After that, the representatives of the teachers spoke and recalled the touching scenes when they worked together with Ms. Zhang. Ms. Zhang Ning also expressed that working in Southeast University College of Law was a wonderful experience in life and expressed her gratitude for the care of the college leaders and colleagues.

Finally, Zhang Yue, a representative of young teachers, presented flowers and souvenir gifts to Ms. Zhang Ning and wished her good health and happiness. The farewell party came to a successful end with a warm applause.
