On May 26th, 2021, the thesis defense of our master's degree in jurisprudence was successfully completed. Professor Zhang Radium, PhD supervisor of Nanjing Normal University School of Law, was the chairman of the defense, Cai Quanyi, partner of Beijing Weiheng (Nanjing) Law Firm, was the external expert member, some teachers from the Law Theory Department and Civil and Commercial Law Department of Southeast University School of Law were the members of the defense committee, and Mr. Miao Zeyi of our school was the secretary of the defense.

The defense team conducted the defense in strict accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management Measures of Postgraduate Dissertation of Southeast University Law School, Working Methods of the Quality Steering Group of Postgraduate Dissertation of Southeast University Law School and other standard documents, and adhered to the principle of fairness, impartiality and openness, and strictly followed the three links of presentation, question and answer in the defense process. The students will be asked about the research content of their dissertations. The defending student reported on the research content, innovation and shortcomings of the thesis. The judges of the defense conducted in-depth communication with the students on the topic, logical structure and specific content of the thesis, and then made their own suggestions on the problems and shortcomings of the thesis. The defense judges asked questions to the students on the basis of listening to the students' elaboration of the content of the thesis, and the defending students organized the questions from the teachers and focused their answers.

Finally, the defense committee unanimously agreed that one master's student who attended the dissertation defense passed the dissertation defense and recommended the award of master's degree. So far, the dissertation defense meeting of the master's degree of the 2021 session of the Law and Science Group was successfully concluded.
