On June 5, 2021, the signing and inauguration ceremony of Cybercrime Research Center and Legal Education Practice Base between Southeast University Law School and Suzhou Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate was successfully held in Nanjing. The opening ceremony was attended by Mao Huixi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University College of Law, Shou Sakura, Party Secretary of Suzhou Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate, Wang Lianping, Member of the Prosecution Committee of Suzhou Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate, Liu Qichuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University College of Law, Xiong Zhanglin, Vice Dean of Southeast University College of Law, Gao Ge, Director of Southeast University Law Practice Education Center, Yin Ji, Director of Southeast University Civil Procuratorate Research Center, and Prof. Yin Ji, Director of Southeast University Cyber Crime Research Center. Professor Yin Ji, Professor Ouyang Benqi, Director of Southeast University Center for Cybersecurity Rule of Law, as well as Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping, Associate Professor Liang Yunbao, Ms. Yang Zhiqiong and Ms. Ji Yang of Southeast University College of Law.

First of all, Mao Huixi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University College of Law, and Shou Sakura, Party Secretary of Suzhou Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate, signed a strategic cooperation agreement to further deepen the cooperation relationship between the two institutions, improve the cooperation mechanism between the procuratorate and the university, innovate the cooperation mode between theoretical research and judicial practice, and promote the quality and efficiency of the team building of both sides to achieve mutual benefit and win-win.

Then, Secretary Mao Huixi awarded a plaque to Prosecutor General Shouzuo on behalf of our institute, and set up Southeast University Law Education Practice Base in Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate, Suzhou, aiming to gather the strength of judicial practice departments, implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education, promote the improvement of the practical teaching system of law disciplines, build a platform for cultivating first-class legal talents, and help the construction of first-class law disciplines in our institute.

Then, Secretary Mao Huixi, on behalf of our school, awarded a plaque to Procurator General Shouzuo to establish Southeast University Law Education Practice Base in Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate of Suzhou City, aiming to gather the strength of judicial practice departments, implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education, promote the improvement of the practical teaching system of law disciplines, build a first-class legal talent training platform, and help the construction of first-class law disciplines in our school.

Mr. Shou Sakura, the Procurator General, said that it was an honor to sign the strategic cooperation agreement with Dongda Law School on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate in Suzhou, and hoped that the strong scientific research strength of Dongda Law School could provide theoretical guidance and intellectual support for the formation of more typical cases and high-quality cases of Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate, and that Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate would provide a continuous source of case materials and practical platform for academic research, discipline construction and talent training of Dongda Law School, and promote the innovative development of the two institutions.

Director Gao Ge pointed out that our school has been upholding the policy of cross-cutting, team-based and practical and striving to innovate academic research and talent cultivation mode, which coincides with the concept of new liberal arts construction advocated by the country nowadays. In recent years, our students have achieved excellent results in national competitions such as Challenge Cup and Internet+, thanks to the hard work of our teachers and the strong support of judicial departments at all levels. This is the 38th practice base set up by our school. We hope that the two schools can join hands in the future and make concerted efforts for the construction of first-class law disciplines and the cultivation of first-class legal talents in our school.

The joint establishment of Cybercrime Research Center and Practice Base of Legal Education with Xiangcheng District People's Procuratorate in Suzhou is a strategic arrangement made by the two partners in the context of the rapid development of information network technology and the keen awareness of the social development trend, aiming to meet the needs of the times, build a bridge of communication and cooperation between academic research and judicial practice, form a positive interaction between theoretical innovation and practical application, develop more valuable research results together, and contribute the wisdom and strength of Southeast Law to the construction of rule of law in China.
