On June 10, 2021, the mid-term inspection workshop of the major topics of judicial research of the Supreme People's Court, hosted by the Supreme People's Court and undertaken by the Shanghai First Intermediate People's Court, was successfully held in Shanghai. Experts and scholars including Vice Director Zhou Jiahai from the Research Office of the Supreme People's Court, Director Yu Haisong from the Criminal Division of the Research Office of the Supreme People's Court, Director Zhang Gangqiang from the Legal System Division of the 11th Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, Vice President Huang Xiangqing from the Shanghai High People's Court, Vice President Huang Yan from the Jiangsu High People's Court, Professor Laodongyan from Tsinghua University School of Law, and Professor Pi Yong from the Shanghai International Institute of Intellectual Property of Tongji University participated in This working meeting was attended by experts and scholars. Professor Ouyang Benqi, Doctoral student Tong Yunfeng and Master's student Liu Hao were invited to participate in this workshop.
On behalf of the research group, Prof. Ouyang Benqi reported on the progress of Research on Judicial Application of Information Network Crime, focusing on the progress of the research, the main ideas of the research, the problems and improvement measures of the research, the next research plan, and the main milestones.
The experts and scholars expressed their full affirmation of the research results and the report of the subject by Professor Ouyang Benqi's group at Southeast University Law School, and emphasized that the cross-cutting, team-based and practice-oriented characteristics of Southeast University Law School will definitely complete the final inspection of the subject and realize more practical transformation of the theoretical results.
