Recently, the national study abroad fund committee announced the admission list of the public graduate program of national construction high-level university in 2021. Lin Jiaqi, Liu Zheshi and Zhang Jianrui of our college have obtained the national public study abroad qualification through the application review of the joint training doctoral graduate program, and will go to the University of Munich, Germany Waseda University in Japan and Freiburg University in Germany conducted exchange studies for one to two years.
2021 is still an unstable year, and COVID-19, which is constantly changing, is killing every corner of the world. In the face of such a severe global epidemic situation, it is not easy for the three students to choose to go upstream in this special period and obtain the opportunity of studying abroad sent by the state. As a traitor, it not only highlights the firm belief of the three students in going abroad for exchange and study, but also conforms to the international talent training concept of countries in the post epidemic era.
Although suddenly COVID-19 has had a great impact on overseas education, the training of internationalized talents is still the main theme of the times. In the opinions of the Ministry of education and other eight departments on accelerating and expanding the opening of education to the outside world in the new era, it is pointed out that we should continue to improve the international competitiveness of China's higher education talent training and accelerate the training of high-level international talents with a global vision.
In addition, universities and colleges have long regarded international talent training as the top priority of construction. At the school level, internationalization is the basic feature of high-level universities and first-class universities. From the development history of world higher education, world-class universities are realized through the process of internationalization. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, the school will focus on improving the quality, level, connotation and timeliness of international exchanges and cooperation. At the same time, we will focus on high-level Sino foreign cooperation in running schools, high-level international academic display, expanding the scale and level of education and academic overseas exchanges for academic students, and encourage teachers and students to go abroad to participate in international exchanges and cooperation. At the college level, our college has been exploring the international talent training mode for a long time, introducing high-quality international education resources and building a foreign exchange and learning platform. At present, our college has exchange and cooperation projects with many famous law schools, such as the University of Connecticut, the University of Florida, Mingchuan University in Taiwan, Waseda University in Japan, Temple University in the United States, mark E. Moritz of Ohio State University in the United States. In addition, the college actively encourages teachers and students to apply for the public study abroad program of the national study abroad fund through personal channels. In this way, our college has always adhered to the school running concept of focusing on teaching and talents first, the educational idea of seeking common ground while reserving differences and stopping at the best, and the open attitude of absorbing the strengths of others and forging ahead.
