On the morning of July 19, 2021, the diversion meeting on the characteristic direction of Engineering Law for 2019 undergraduates of our college was successfully held in the mock court on the fourth floor. Present at the meeting were Secretary Mao Huixi, vice president Shan Pingji, vice president Xiong Zhanglin, Associate Professor Gao Ge of the engineering law team, Associate Professor Ye Shuli, Professor Huang Zhen, associate professor hang Renchun, Associate Professor Dai Qingkang, Associate Professor Zhang Malin, teacher Wang Weiling, Teacher Chang Tengyuan, teacher Wang Weiwei, teacher Fei Qianqian, Dr. Ding Jinyu, Wang Qi and Qin Jiayin, 2018 undergraduates, And all 2019 undergraduates of our college; The diversion meeting was presided over by Vice President Shan Pingji.

Firstly, Secretary Mao Huixi briefly introduced the basic situation of the characteristic direction of Engineering Law of our college to the 2019 undergraduates, including the establishment background, development achievements and specific training scheme of the characteristic direction of Engineering Law. Secretary Mao said that interdisciplinary is the discipline characteristic and treasure of our college, the future development direction of law discipline, the internal trend of the construction of new liberal arts, the inevitable requirement of building a country ruled by law and realizing the modernization of national governance capacity and governance system, and also the fundamental path of internationalization in the new era. Our college has always implemented the characteristics of deep cross integration from team structure to teacher teaching. After several years of polishing, the cultivation of the characteristic direction of undergraduate engineering law is becoming more and more scientific, the tutorial system is implemented in the undergraduate stage, and the training scheme is more mature.

Secondly, the teachers of the engineering law team shared their views on the characteristic direction of undergraduate engineering law from different angles: Mr. Ye Shuli introduced the strong practical demand for engineering law talents from the current domestic engineering development trend; Mr. Gao Ge introduced in detail the cultivation of Engineering Law Talents in our college from the aspects of undergraduate tutorial system, postgraduate study and work of Engineering law students in our college; Mr. Huang Zhen introduced the situation of Engineering Law in the traditional civil law system, and proposed that the learning and research of Engineering Law is based on the learning perspective and thinking path of law, analyzing engineering related problems, so as to provide ideas for students' learning of Engineering Law.

Next, Ding Jinyu, a doctoral student of Renmin University of China Law School and Wang Qi and Qin Jiayin, 2018 undergraduates of law school, as the student representatives of Engineering Law, told their own experience of learning engineering law from their own learning experience.

Finally, the teachers of the engineering law team had a comprehensive exchange with the undergraduates of grade 19. The teachers gave a comprehensive introduction to international engineering contracting, the practical operation of Engineering Law, the implementation mode of tutorial system, the teaching mode of the characteristic direction of Engineering Law, and the further study after graduation. After this meeting, the undergraduates of grade 19 have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the direction of Engineering Law, which is believed to be of great significance for students to choose specific training direction.
