Recently, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice issued the Notice on the Establishment of Shanghai Government Legislative Expert Pool (No. 69 [2021]), announcing the first batch of expert members of Shanghai Government Legislative Expert Pool. Our Professor Wang Lusheng was selected as the first batch of expert members.

This time, the first batch of expert members of the Shanghai government legislative expert pool was produced after the procedures of declaration and recommendation, qualification examination and preliminary selection of the list, and finally the legislative expert candidates were determined according to the principle of difference, and the proposed list was submitted to the municipal government for approval on the basis of merit. According to the spirit of the Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Major Issues of Comprehensively Promoting the Rule of Law and the Outline of Comprehensively Deepening Judicial Administration Reform (2019-2022) of the Ministry of Justice, the establishment of the Shanghai Government Legislative Expert Pool aims to give full play to the role of experts in the government's legislative work and promote scientific and democratic legislation.

The appointment of our Professor Wang Lusheng as the first batch of expert members of Shanghai government legislation expert pool is not only a high affirmation of Professor Wang Lusheng's theoretical achievements and academic level, but also a strong proof of our scientific research influence, which helps to further stimulate the enthusiasm and power of professional teachers to give full play to their own strengths and advantages to strengthen the research on major strategic, global and forward-looking issues, and provide intellectual support and theoretical support for the construction of the rule of law.
