On October 16, 2021, the establishment of the Professional Committee of Law Education in Polytechnic Universities and the High-end Forum on the Cultivation of Complex Rule of Law Talents, co-sponsored by the Law Education Research Society of the Chinese Law Society and the School of Law of Beijing University of Technology, was successfully held in the International Exchange Center of Beijing University of Technology. Representatives from more than 60 universities, including Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Tianjin University, Tongji University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology and Chongqing University, came together to discuss innovative initiatives for the cultivation of complex rule of law talents.

The meeting held the inauguration ceremony of the Professional Committee of Legal Education in Science and Technology Universities of the Law Society of China, with Prof. Li Shouping, Dean of the School of Law of Beijing University of Technology, as the director, and our Vice President Shan Pingji was invited to attend the meeting and selected as the deputy director. Prof. Zhang Wenxian, member of the party group, director of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Law Society and president of the Law Education Research Association, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and gave a keynote speech.

The forum was divided into three modules, the topics of which were Xi Jinping's Thought on Rule of Law and the Construction of Civic Government in Law Courses, Innovation of Cultivation Model of Complex Rule of Law Talents in the Background of New Law Discipline Construction and Curriculum Construction and Cultivation of Complex Rule of Law Talents in the Era of Intelligent Technology The seminar was chaired by Associate Professor Shan Pingji. Associate Professor Shan Pingji presided over the module of Innovation of Cultivation Model of Complex Rule of Law Talents in the Context of New Legal Science Construction and introduced our exploration of cultivation of complex rule of law talents, which is conducive to expanding the influence of cultivation of complex rule of law talents and construction of law majors in our college.
