On the morning of October 26, 2021, the practice units of three research centers of Southeast University Law School settled in Shuyang County, Suqian City. The practice unit of Southeast University's Research Center for Cybersecurity and Rule of Law, the practice unit of Southeast University's Civil Prosecution Research Base, and the practice unit of Southeast University's Jiangsu Province Youth Work Research Base (Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency) were inaugurated at Shuyang County People's Procuratorate. The inauguration ceremony was hosted by Zhang Haitao, Secretary of the Party Group and Procurator General of Shuyang County People's Procuratorate, and attended by all cadres of Shuyang County People's Procuratorate. Our Professor Ouyang Benqi, Professor Yin Ji, Professor Li Chuan and Associate Professor Gao Ge were invited to attend the practice unit inauguration ceremony.

Professor Ouyang Benqi, Director of the Center for Cybersecurity Rule of Law of Southeast University, and Liu Jiayun, Secretary of the Party Group and Procurator General of Suqian People's Procuratorate, unveiled the plaque for the practice unit of the Center for Cybersecurity Rule of Law of Southeast University.

Professor Yin Ji, Director of Civil Procuratorate Research Base of Southeast University, and Zhang Haitao, Secretary of the Party Group and Procurator General of Shuyang County People's Procuratorate, unveiled the plaque for the practice unit of Civil Procuratorate Research Base of Southeast University.

Prof. Li Chuan, Director of Jiangsu Youth Work Research Base (Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency) of Southeast University and Li Dongyang, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of Shuyang County, unveiled the plaque for the practice unit of Jiangsu Youth Work Research Base (Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency) of Southeast University.

At the inauguration ceremony, the speech of Associate Professor Gao Ge, Director of our Law Practice Education Center, introduced the development and construction achievements of Southeast University Law School in recent years, and suggested that Southeast University Law School and Shuyang County People's Procuratorate should take the cooperation of the three research bases as an opportunity to cooperate in all aspects, including talent training and base construction, to provide strong intellectual support for optimizing the rule of law business environment and promoting procuratorial reform, and strive to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.

After the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Ouyang Benqi, Prof. Yin Ji and Prof. Li Chuan gave lectures on the understanding and application of the Criminal Law Amendment (XI).

Professor Ouyang Benqi gave a lecture on Judicial Determination of Invasion of Property in the Network Environment, and discussed how to characterize new types of invasion of property in the network environment in terms of the invasion of property by using false links, the difference between theft and fraud, the invasion of property by stealing two-dimensional codes, and the invasion of property by using network rules.

Professor Yin Ji gave a lecture on Protection of Heroes and Martyrs and made a theoretical analysis on the understanding and application of the crime of infringing on the honor and reputation of heroes and martyrs, which is one of the 299 new articles in the Amendment (XI) of the Criminal Law, from the perspectives of legislative significance and the convergence of laws and regulations.

Prof. Li Chuan gave a lecture on Research on Juvenile Crimes, and gave an in-depth explanation on the many revised articles of the Amendment to the Criminal Law (XI) involving minors.

In recent years, our school has become one of the important bases for training legal talents in China, and has formed disciplinary advantages and characteristics that match the construction of Double First Class. The school has been ranked in the top 10% of law disciplines in the 2021 Soft Science China Best Discipline Ranking. The unveiling ceremony was held successfully, which shows another success of our school in the joint construction of the prosecution school. Our school and the practice units will continue to carry out rich forms of research activities in the future to promote the high-quality integration and development of theory and practice.
