On December 11, 2021, the Symposium on Codification of Education Law and Protection of the Right to Education was held at Southeast University. This conference was co-organized by the Institute of Human Rights (National Human Rights Education and Training Base) and the Experimental Base of Smart Education Governance (National Experimental Base of Smart Social Governance) of Southeast University, and co-sponsored by the Law School of Southeast University, the Research Base of Education Legislation of Southeast University, the Research Base of Judicial Big Data of People's Court of Southeast University, the Research Base of Civil Prosecution of Southeast University, and the Research Center of Cyber Security Rule of Law of Southeast University.

According to the national epidemic prevention and control requirements, this conference was held in a combination of offline conference and online conference, from Southeast University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Capital Normal University, Anhui University, Wuhan University, Renmin University of China, Hunan University, Shaanxi Normal University, China University of Political Science and Law, Peking University, Hohai University, Central South University, China Textbook Institute, East China Normal University, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, the Hunan Normal University, Nanchang University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Hunan University of Technology, City University of Macau, Henan University, Central South University of Economics and Law, Central China Normal University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southwest University, Guizhou University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Henan University of Economics and Law, Guangxi Normal University, and the Journal of University Education Science, Law Review, Journal of Education Science of Hunan Normal University, Yunnan Normal University Journal (Philosophy and Social Science Edition) and other universities, journals and research institutions, more than 300 theoretical research and practical workers attended the conference.
