On December 26, 2021, the General Meeting and 2021 Annual Conference of the Jiangsu Law Society on Intellectual Property Law was held in Nanjing. In this conference, Professor Hu Chaoyang was elected as Vice President, Associate Professor Ren Danli was elected as Executive Director, and Associate Researcher Xu Minchuan was elected as Director.

    Prof. Wu Handong, Prof. Li Mingde and Prof. Yi Jiming were invited to deliver the keynote speeches at the conference. In the afternoon seminar, experts and scholars from the legal and practical fields spoke and commented on the theme of Promoting Innovation and Regulating Competition Order in the Internet Field. Professor Hu Chaoyang from our school spoke on The Duty of Care and its Legal Application in the Governance of Intellectual Property Rights on Online Platforms.

    The annual conference was held in a combination of online and offline formats, with more than 4,300 participants online, achieving the conference objectives of improving the fair competition review mechanism, strengthening anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition enforcement and justice, promoting the deep integration of the Internet and industry, and promoting the healthy development of the platform economy.
