On the afternoon of January 17, 2022, the leadership team of our institute held a special democratic life meeting on party history study and education in the conference room on the fourth floor of the law school of Jiulonghu Campus. Wu Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of our school, attended the meeting for guidance, and the meeting was presided over by Mao Huixi, secretary of the party committee of the law school, Ouyang Benqi, dean of the law school, Xiong Zhanglin and Shan Pingji, vice presidents of the law school, and Liu Qichuan, deputy secretary of the party committee and vice president, attended the meeting.

In accordance with the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the mobilization meeting for the study and education of party history and the requirements of the party committee of the central government and the school, Mao Huixi introduced the theme of this democratic life meeting: vigorously carry forward the great spirit of party building, adhere to the party's historical experience in the past century of struggle, strengthen historical self-confidence, practice the mission of the times, cultivate the feelings of the people, have the courage to take action, unite and lead teachers, students and employees to take the road of cultivating leading talents and building a new road of world-class legal disciplines, and strive to create a new situation in the development of the college's career. Greet the 20th National Congress of the Party with excellent results. Mao Huixi also gave a briefing on the development of the study and education of party history at the law school and the preparations for the democratic life meeting, and took the lead in conducting comparative inspections on behalf of the leading bodies and individuals. Focusing on the study and implementation of the party's basic theoretical situation, the study of party history, the standards for party members to be compared, and the work methods and methods, we conducted in-depth analysis around the following five aspects, made comparative inspection speeches, and carried out criticism and self-criticism.

Subsequently, Vice President Wu Gang commented on Secretary Mao's criticism and self-criticism. He believes that this special topic of democratic life will examine the problems seriously, conform to the actual situation of the law school itself, analyze the reasons profoundly, and have clear rectification measures.
