On the afternoon of March 9, our faculty held a faculty meeting for the spring semester of 2022. President Ouyang Benqi, Secretary of the Party Committee Mao Huixi, Vice President Shan Pingji, Vice President Xiong Zhanglin, Deputy Secretary Liu Qichuan and other leaders of the academy, as well as all faculty and staff attended the conference.

The meeting was presided over by Secretary Mao Huixi. Secretary Mao first expressed cordial greetings to the faculty and staff of the college, and sent holiday blessings to the female faculty and staff.

Dean Ouyang Benqi first summarized the work in 2022 from the aspects of new heights of discipline construction, new achievements in scientific research, new forms of Lide tree people, new contributions to think tank platforms, and new patterns of teaching staff. Next, Dean Ouyang put forward the plan for the work in 2022: first, seize the opportunity of new liberal arts construction and achieve steady improvement of disciplines; second, adhere to the strategy of strengthening the academy with talents and optimize the structure of the talent team; third, adhere to the fundamental principle of Lide and improve the quality of student training; fourth, take foreign-related rule of law talents as the core to enhance the internationalization level of the college.

Vice President Shan Pingji introduced the steady progress of undergraduate teaching under the epidemic situation, and explained and deployed the next stage of teaching work.

Vice Dean Xiong Zhanglin introduced the five highlights of the graduate management achievements in 2021, the four highlights of the law school's internationalization work, and the five highlights of the school's scientific research achievements.

Deputy Secretary Liu Qichuan introduced the five major points and outstanding results of the student work of our college in the 2021 academic year with the theme of Shouzheng Innovation on the Road, Wen Rui Education in the Future, and then put forward the preliminary planning and expectations for 2022.

Professor Gong Xianghe gave a detailed introduction to the relevant situation, work results and 2022 annual work plan of the Institute of Human Rights, and expressed his expectation to work with the teachers to promote the development of the human rights research base.

Teacher Gao Ge explained the use of funds and the relevant situation of the foundation, and said that in the next stage, the college will strengthen management and use the funds to promote the development of the discipline on the blade.

Secretary Mao Huixi affirmed the work results of the above-mentioned leading teachers, thanked the teachers for their dedication, and was full of confidence that our institute would continue to maintain its development trend and achieve better results. This year will usher in the Twentieth National Congress of the Party, and Secretary Mao called on all faculty and staff to take the initiative to contribute ideas and suggestions to welcome the Twentieth National Congress with a lifting spirit. At the same time, this year will also usher in the 120th anniversary of Southeast University, which should take this opportunity to hold a series of theme activities to unite the strength of all walks of life and better promote the development of the college. Finally, our institute should focus on the theme of Year of Promotion, focusing on the five key points of leadership team building, teacher morality and teacher style construction, education reform, student work team construction and new liberal arts reform.

Don't forget the original intention, forge ahead. The successful convening of the faculty and staff work conference of the whole college has clearly defined the direction and gathered strength for the smooth development of the work of our college this year. Wang Lusheng, deputy director of the social science department of the school, the heads of various research bases of the college, the leaders of various disciplines, and the directors of various teaching and research departments attended the meeting.
