On May 8, 2022, the 9th Enterprise Criminal Compliance High-end Forum and the Press Conference of China Anti-Bribery Compliance Investigation Report, sponsored by the Institute of Procuratorial Theory of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Research Center for Crime Prevention of Chinese Entrepreneurs of Beijing Normal University, and the Beijing Enterprise Legal Risk Prevention and Control Research Association, were successfully held, and Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping of our hospital was invited to attend the meeting and serve as the keynote speaker.

Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping delivered a keynote speech on the third session of the conference, Prospects for Criminal Legislation Reform of Enterprise Compliance, and deeply discussed the improvement of legislation on unit crimes in the context of the compliance reform of enterprises involved in the case. Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping believes that the theory of unit decision-making responsibility still has universal applicability, and the theory of organizational responsibility should be taken as the basis for crime under the unit decision-making theory, rather than directly replacing the unit responsibility theory, and then propose a legislative amendment plan for unit crime based on the theory of unit substantive crime.

The meeting focused on major issues such as the practical review of the pilot work of enterprise compliance, the prospect of criminal legislation reform of enterprise compliance, and the implementation and prospect of the third-party supervision and evaluation mechanism. The speeches of the teachers of our institute were well received by the participating experts and the audience. This meeting highlighted the scientific research level of our institute in the field of corporate compliance research, fully demonstrated the profound academic foundation and scientific research ability of our faculty, and enhanced the academic influence of our institute in the country.
