The judicial big data base of the People's Court of Southeast University held a meeting for teachers and students of the class of 2022

On the afternoon of September 21, 2022, the meeting meeting of the 2022 freshmen and students of the judicial big data base of the People's Court of Southeast University was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of the law school. Professor Wang Lusheng, Associate Professor Chen Daoying, Associate Professor Ren Danli, Associate Professor Yang Jie, Associate Professor Xu Minchuan, Professor Miao Zeyi, Teacher Yu Tao and Teacher Xing Chenxi of the Judicial Big Data Base attended the meeting and had cordial and friendly exchanges with more than 10 new students who had newly joined the base.
The meeting was presided over by Associate Researcher Xu Minchuan, who warmly welcomed the arrival of the new students on behalf of the big data base, and introduced the team composition, development overview, existing achievements and future planning of the big data base. The other participating teachers also expressed their welcome and expectations for the new students one by one. Combining the development trend of legal big data research in recent years, Professor Wang Lusheng introduced the team-based training model currently adopted by the big data base, pointing out that digital law has an extremely inclusive side, that is, no matter whether the students' professional research direction is public law or private law, they can make a difference after in-depth research around digital law. Teacher Yang Jie pointed out that the team-based training mode of the big data base can provide students with diversified perspectives, diversified communication channels and rich practical opportunities, and I hope that students can participate in the activities of the base and find their own research interests.

In the subsequent teacher-student exchange session, the new students of the 22nd grade introduced their academic backgrounds; This year's new students come from different majors such as law, foreign languages, chemical engineering, energy, and tourism management. Teacher Wang Lusheng said that the difference of undergraduate majors creates more openness of knowledge, and diversified professional backgrounds can inject new impetus into the interdisciplinary research of big data bases. The new students also communicated with the teachers on the learning goals and willingness to study for the doctoral degree, and Mr. Miao Zeyi also made valuable suggestions on academic planning, reading habits, academic attitudes, and after-school life at the graduate level.
Before the end of the meeting, the participants took a group photo. The meeting was both reviewed and prospected, guided and communicated, which enhanced the understanding between the members of the base and provided guidance for the academic goals of the new students.
