The Regulations on the Work of Grassroots Organizations of Ordinary Colleges and Universities of the Communist Party of China (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) were promulgated by the CPC Central Committee on April 16, 2021, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implementing the spirit of the 19th Party Congress and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Plenary Sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, taking the Party Constitution as the fundamental basis, implementing the general requirements of Party building in the new era and the Party's organizational line in the new era, and comprehensively standardizing the work of grass-roots party organizations in colleges and universities, which is the basic observance of party building in colleges and universities in the new era. At the same time, as the basic guidelines for law schools to organize party building work, implement party policies, and cultivate the backbone of party members, the Regulations are the program documents for the requirements, objectives, methods, and principles of law school party building work.

At the meeting, Secretary Mao Huixi led all party members and cadres of the Law School to conduct in-depth study of the main contents, core spirit, special provisions, and other key points of the Regulations, and meticulously pointed out the specific arrangements made by the Regulations for the basic principles, organizational settings, main responsibilities, leadership system, discipline inspection, and other matters of the college's party building work, with the aim of strengthening the skills of party members through the study and mastery of policies as a whole, and laying a solid theoretical and organizational foundation for cultivating party successors in the new era.
