On the afternoon of October 12, 2022, the seventh Big Data and Internet Law Youth Academic Salon was successfully held in the conference room of Legal Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of Southeast University College of Law. The salon was hosted by Associate Researcher Xu Minchuan, with the participation of Professor Wang Lusheng, Deputy Director of Social Science Division (presiding), Associate Professor Ren Danli, Associate Professor Chen Daoying, Associate Professor Yang Jie, Teacher Xing Chenxi of Law School, Professor Zhang Boli and Teacher Wu Tianxing of School of Computer Science Technology and Engineering, and students of Judicial Big Data Base.
Gong Shanzhao, a 19th grade PhD student, firstly shared his results on the topic of The dilemma of the application of the original law in blockchain deposition and its presumptive response. The report introduced the existing research under this topic, the heirarchical properties of blockchain deposition, the dilemma of the application of the original law and the presumptive response of the original law. 22-year PhD students Sun Yu and Professor Wang Lusheng participated in the review of the article and affirmed the active exploration of the research in blockchain evidence. The guest teachers discussed the mechanism of blockchain application and the best law of evidence in traditional criminal procedure law.
Wang Shuang, a doctoral student in class of '20, gave a presentation on What is the public trust theory? Why should public trust theory be applied in public data open system? How does the public trust theory unfold in the open public data system? Zhao Yi and Xu Minchuan, associate researchers of Master's degree, participated in the discussion of the presentation. The guest lecturers exchanged views with the students on the subject comprehensiveness of trust theory.
Finally, Prof. Wang Lusheng summarized the salon, affirming the profound thinking and writing power of the two students, saying that the meaning of the academic salon is to promote the progress of young students in academia, emphasizing the core value of problem awareness for academic articles, and pointing out that the most intuitive point of readers' perception of the article content is often the most important problem for authors to solve.
