In the afternoon of December 7, 2022, Prof. Hongzhi Meng and his team members visited Prof. Patrick Kao's work team in the College of Transportation. Associate Professor Yang Jie, Associate Researcher Xu Minchuan and Teacher Zhang Yunhao from Southeast University School of Law, Teacher Liu Pei and Teacher Zhou Runxuan from Southeast University School of Transportation, and Master and Doctoral students from their respective teams participated in this event.

At the beginning of the interaction, Prof. Meng Hongzhi and his team members visited BLUESKY Studio in the School of Transportation, and Prof. Patrick Kuan gave a detailed introduction of BLUESKY Studio in terms of team creation, talent cultivation and culture construction.

After visiting the studio, the two teams conducted a seminar on Law + Transportation talent training model. First of all, Prof. Patrick Kwan welcomed the visit of Prof. Meng Hongzhi's team and recalled the wonderful lectures given by Prof. Meng Hongzhi to BLUESKY Studio in 2016 and the fruitful research results achieved by both teams in the intersection of Law + Transportation in recent years.

Prof. Meng Hongzhi expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Prof. Patrick's team, and emphasized that Prof. Patrick has played an important role in the establishment and talent cultivation of the Southeast University Transportation Law and Development Research Center and the development of the interdisciplinary discipline of transportation law in Southeast University Law School. At the same time, Prof. Meng said that the BLUESKY Studio under Prof. Patrick's guidance has a strong team atmosphere and fruitful research results, and its talent cultivation model is worth learning from.

In the exchange session, Mr. Zhang Yunhao and Associate Professor Yang Jie from the Law School and Mr. Yang Pei from the College of Transportation combined their own research and teaching experiences and carried out in-depth exchanges on interdisciplinary crossover, talent cultivation and team building.

Finally, in the book presentation ceremony, Prof. Meng Hongzhi and Prof. Patrick Kwan presented the latest research results of their respective teams to each other and encouraged the team members to study actively.

Although winter is coming, friendship is permanent. After the seminar, both teams took a group photo and expressed that they would carry out closer cooperation and more extensive learning and exchange activities in the future, so as to inject more momentum into the further development of Law + Transportation cross-culture talents.
