In order to comprehensively implement the series of important speeches and important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on party discipline learning and education, on the morning of June 11, Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School of Southeast University, gave a special party lesson on the theme of profoundly understanding the spirit of the party discipline and effectively becoming a loyal, clean and responsible practitioner of the rule of law for the head of the party and government team of the School, all teachers and students. Party branch secretaries, party members on behalf of the party taught party discipline learning and education special party class.
In this party lesson, Liu Qichuan, secretary of the CPC Disciplinary Regulations (hereinafter referred to as Regulations) around the evolution of the four aspects of the evolution, the main content, the value of the times and the significance of the rule of law, comprehensively sorted out the history of the party's disciplinary construction, a detailed explanation of the relevant content of the Regulations in the 3, stressed the significance of the revision of the Regulations. Liu Qichuan pointed out that in January 2024, General Secretary Xi Jinping made an important instruction on political and legal work, stressing the need to strengthen the political construction of the Party in political and legal organs, and to forge a loyal, clean and responsible political and legal iron army of the new era. Therefore, the party discipline learning and education should also grasp the three key words of loyalty, cleanliness and responsibility, and constantly improve the party members' skills and sharpen their will, so that the majority of party members will realise that the party's discipline is like a mountain, and its majesty is like a river, so that they can consciously abide by the party's rules and regulations and maintain the reverence for discipline in their daily work and life. Finally, Liu Qichuan, the secretary, combined with the characteristics of the discipline of law, analysed the significance of the rule of law of the Regulations from three perspectives of statutory principle, balanced principle and procedural principle, integrating party building with business, providing a unique perspective of the legal profession for carrying out the study and education of party discipline.
This special party course further clarifies the significance and goal of party discipline learning and education, educates and guides teachers and students to consciously correct their thoughts and actions with party regulations and discipline, and really makes the process of learning party discipline a process of enhancing disciplinary awareness and improving party cultivation, so as to provide a strong disciplinary guarantee for promoting the construction of a world-class university with Chinese characteristics.
