On July 12, 2024, the 2nd European Chinese Young Lawyers Forum and Academic Seminar on Paradigm Innovation of European Chinese Legal Knowledge Exchange were jointly organized by the Professors of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Foreign Criminal Law and Criminal Law Theory at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, the European Chinese Legal Research and Innovation Center at Augsburg University Law School in Germany, the editorial department of the Legal Theory magazine at China University of Political Science and Law, and the German Chinese Cultural Foundation. More than 50 Chinese and foreign legal scholars and young legal professionals from countries such as China, Germany, and Italy participated in the forum, which attracted widespread attention and achieved fruitful results.
Our doctoral student Liu Meng is currently a jointly trained doctoral student at the Law School of Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. As a member of the forum organizer's Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Foreign Criminal Law, and Criminal Law Theory Chair at the Law School of Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, she is responsible for the main conference work of the forum. And delivered a special report titled Deconstruction of the Triple Impact of Criminal Participation Theory in the Internet Age in Sub forum Three: Knowledge Exchange on Emerging Issues in European Chinese Legal Studies: Comparative Research between China and Europe.
It was reported that this forum aims to further promote dialogue between Chinese and European legal professionals, deepen mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of law between China and Europe, and contribute new ideas and solutions to global legal education and practice.
