On the afternoon of July 25, 2024, Chen Hongbing, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Law of Southeast University, was invited to give a lecture on How to Defend Economic Crimes. The lecture was hosted by the Lawyer Management Office of Zhengdong New Area, organized by Beijing Kangda (Zhengzhou) Law Firm and Beijing Guantao Zhongmao (Zhengzhou) Law Firm, and held at the Lawyer's Home in Zhengdong New Area.

In the lecture, Professor Chen Hongbing pointed out the importance of economic crimes in the criminal law provisions and their prevalence in economic life by elaborating on each chapter of the criminal law provisions. Professor Chen compared similar charges and concepts in criminal law by raising questions such as whether selling Er Guo Tou as Maotai liquor constitutes the crime of selling counterfeit and inferior products, whether the crime of producing and selling counterfeit and inferior products is a selective offense since production is an actual act, and whether signing a contract that stipulates breach of contract liability clauses does not constitute the crime of producing and selling counterfeit and inferior products. On the difficult issues of understanding and applying the key charges of economic crimes, a large number of vivid cases are used to explain them in a simple and understandable way, imparting practical experience in defending economic crimes and cutting-edge academic viewpoints to everyone.

On the morning of July 26, 2024, Professor Chen Hongbing was invited by the Zhengzhou Lawyers Association to give a lecture on the theme of Understanding and Applying the Ten Commonly Used Key Crimes in Criminal Law. This lecture was organized by the Lawyer Working Committee of Zhongyuan District, attracting nearly 300 lawyers to gather together to explore the deep meaning and practical application of criminal law.

Professor Chen Hongbing, with his humorous and infectious teaching style, brought a combination of theory and practice brainstorming to the lawyers present. During the three hour lecture, Professor Chen carefully selected 10 commonly used key criminal charges in criminal law, including provocation, intentional injury, rape, and fraud, and delved into the interpretation methods of criminal law provisions and the analysis of key criminal charges in economic crimes.

On the afternoon of July 26, 2024, Professor Chen Hongbing was invited by Beijing Guangsheng (Zhengzhou) Law Firm to give a lecture on the theme of How Criminal Lawyers Find Defense Points. This lecture brought together numerous lawyers and industry colleagues who love learning and pursue knowledge, and the response was enthusiastic with no empty seats.

This lecture focused on how criminal lawyers can find defense points. Professor Chen Hongbing had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the attending lawyers on this core topic, covering the thinking patterns, professional abilities, and practical work methods that criminal lawyers should possess.

The three lectures during this trip to Zhengzhou received unanimous praise from the attendees. Professor Chen's enthusiastic and easy to understand explanation not only gave attending lawyers an updated, deeper, and more comprehensive understanding of commonly used key charges, but also provided valuable guidance and important references for them to handle criminal legal business.
